Discover Coding with codeX

Project CodeX invites you to join a DISCOVER CODING session between Nov 22 and the end of January 2023.

To learn more about these short sessions, download our Discover Coding one pager OR Sign Up for one of the events below.

Events

The Discover Coding events are on pause for now. You can watch the webinar recording at anytime.

Who should join?
People who are curious about how coding is done, and what careers there are in software.

Particularly women and girls, people from low-income communities with less exposure to IT processes and devices. Our programmes don’t require you to have a passion for tech, just an interest. Who knows where it could lead?

What next?
You may be hooked and go further with coding – Project CodeX mentors will support you as you complete free, longer online coding courses. You may qualify to join a 2-week coding bootcamp and even to join our full-time course in 2023.

Why do we do this?
We know that coding skill goes beyond good grades, or maths and science. Many of our grads had no coding experience and have gone on to careers in corporates.
Through these sessions we help people discover potential they didn’t know they had, and opportunities in the software industry.

Helping people discover coding fundamentals in a different way makes it easier for all South Africans to learn coding, and helps Project codeX to find candidates to join our training programme for entry-level coders.

Join us for the Discover Coding session, it may surprise you.
